The Norwegian EduGIS Group visit in Warsaw

warsztatyThe workshop to be held on 8-10 March 2011 in Warsaw will have a guest group of teachers and pupils from schools in Gjovik and Gausdal, with whom we met at a workshop in Norway in December last year. 
High school students from the Family Covenant of John Paul II school in Warsaw and their colleagues from the VI-th High School in Radom will also participate in the workshop.
During the workshop, visitors from Norway will have an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the organization of work in the Polish school. Goals and activities of teacher support  institutions that will be presented based on the example of the  partner institution of the EduGis Academy project – the Mazowia Teacher Training Center. The itinerary (. Pdf 0.4MB) will also include demonstration lessons with the youth from Norway and Poland, led  by selected members of the EduGIS Working Group. Unique and interactive ways of teaching science will be presented during a visit to the Copernicus Science Centre. Visit in the field with observas and measurements in Kampinoski National Park was also planned.  Workshops will provide an opportunity to foreign guests to get familiar with history of our country (including Warsaw) through the modern technology in an interesting and surprising way including field game and visit to the Warsaw Rising Museum.
The tasks of the EduGis Working Group members during the workshop will be included: participation / lead demonstration lessons, participation in  the urban game, then its conclusion.
